Mother’s Day Chocolate Box
Show Mom all the love this Mother’s Day with this extra-special box of chocolate treats.
Ingredients
Makes about 30-40
- 3 slabs (80g each) Beacon Heavenly Midnight Velvet chocolate, melted
- 3 slabs (80g each) Beacon Heavenly Milk Chocolate, melted
- 4 slabs (80g each) Beacon Heavenly Ivory Cream chocolate, melted
- 1–2 drops gel or liquid food colouring of choice (we used pink)
For decorating:
- Handful lightly salted pretzels
- Handful toasted coconut flakes
- Sprinkles
- Edible flowers
- 1 box (64g) Willson’s Cream Caramels toffees, cut into small chunks
Method

Line 3 baking trays with baking paper.

Pour about 1–2 tsp rounds of the melted Heavenly Midnight Velvet chocolate onto one of the prepared trays, making sure to leave a gap of about 2cm between rounds.

Smooth out each round evenly using the back of a teaspoon (each round should be 4cm in diameter).

Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the Heavenly Milk Chocolate.

Decorate chocolate rounds as desired with pretzels, nuts, coconut flakes, sprinkles, edible flowers and toffee chunks. Allow to set completely.

Divide melted Heavenly Ivory Cream chocolate between two bowls. Swirl food colouring through one bowl and keep the other one plain.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 with both the food colouring-infused and plain bowls of melted Heavenly Ivory Cream chocolate.

Decorate chocolate rounds as desired with pretzels, nuts, coconut flakes, sprinkles, edible flowers and toffee chunks and chill in the freezer until set.

Arrange chocolate rounds in a gift box lined with tissue paper (make sure to mix and match).

Add a ribbon if you like before sharing it as a gift.
