Jelly Bean Treats
Jelly Beans give this classic favourite a new twist that the kids (and grown-ups!) will love.
Ingredients
Makes about 16
- 3 Tbsp (45g) butter
- 2-3 packets (150g) Vanilla Custard mmmMallows, chopped into small chunks
- 4 cups (about 600g) puffed rice cereal
- 1½ packets (187g) Maynards Jelly Beans
Method
- Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat.
- Add mmmMallows, stirring until completely melted, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and pour onto puffed rice cereal while mixing.
- Quickly stir half the Jelly Beans into the mixture.
- Transfer to a 28cm x 23 cm baking tray lined with baking paper and press mixture evenly into dish.
- Top with remaining Jelly Beans and set at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- Cut into squares with a sharp, warm knife before serving.
