3 Ways to Decorate Easter Eggs

Easter

Edible Easter crafts have never been this easy or delicious! With 3 different ways to decorate eggs, you’ll have activities and treats for the whole of Easter weekend.

Pastel Piped Hens Eggs

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (520g) icing sugar, sifted
  • ½ cup (125ml) water
  • 4 colours liquid food colouring
  • 3 packets (6 each) Beacon Hens Eggs

Method

  1. Combine icing and water in a bowl and whisk until smooth. (The mixture should be thick consistency. Add an extra teaspoon of water if the mixture is too dry to get it smooth.)
  2. Divide mixture between 4 bowls and a drop of food colouring to each. Whisk to combine, creating 4 pastel colours.
  3. Place each colour of icing in its own piping bag.
  4. Pipe any shape you’d like on Hens Eggs, leaving the bottom clear. Place eggs back into packaging to dry out and set for about 15-30 minutes.
  5. Store in a cool, dark place until eating.
